  Peggy Tate, VP Consultant of Kerson Partners, is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in retailing and diversified service industries. Ms. Tate has led major recruitment strategies in global and domestic organizations and has managed her own independent executive search company.

  Most recently, Ms. Tate was Senior Vice President, Human Resources for DFS Group Limited, an international retailer with operations throughout Asia and Asia Pacific. DFS is part of the LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton group. In this role, Ms. Tate led the company through a series of significant organizational changes and directed the alignment of all human resources processes to support these changes. She introduced a competency-based model for recruitment and leadership development and was responsible for the staffing strategy of the merchandising organization, including the addition of 200 positions in the San Francisco headquarters.

  
Prior to DFS, Ms. Tate was with Firstar Bank (now U.S. Bank), where she served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for the lead bank and its subsidiaries with assets of over $16 billion. Ms. Tate led the internal assessment and major reorganization of the human resources function and implemented a 360 degree feedback and development process for all senior executives.

  Ms Tate has held top human resource positions with The Gap, Kohl's, Mervyn's, and Carter Hawley Hale. As Vice President of Human Resources at Mervyn's and Carter Hawley Hale, she was responsible for the staffing of two new division headquarters working closely with the respective division presidents. These roles included the recruitment, placement, and relocation of all senior, middle, and entry management positions in addition to leadership of the human resources function.
